About the Job

We are seeking a Director of Growth to drive new business growth by identifying, engaging, and closing high-value eCommerce opportunities. This role is focused on selling agency services, including eCommerce platform implementations, strategy, design, development, and optimization. The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with a strong background in enterprise eCommerce services sales and a deep understanding of digital commerce ecosystems.


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in eCommerce sales, preferably in an agency or consulting environment.
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding new business sales targets
  • Strong network and experience selling into mid-market and enterprise brands.
  • Deep knowledge of Shopify preferred
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
  • Experience working with CRM and sales tools (e.g., HubSpot, eTail Insights, LinkedIn Sales Navigator).

Essential Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to identify, prospect, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build relationships with key decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise brands to drive engagement and deal velocity.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, UX/UI, development, and project management) to craft compelling solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of eCommerce trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to position our agency as a trusted partner.
  • Work closely with marketing to refine messaging, generate demand, and optimize lead conversion.
  • Accurately forecast and report pipeline activities and revenue projections to leadership.
  • Represent CQL  at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
