Founded in 1996, RAVE Sports® is the premier innovator and supplier of water recreation products. The originator of the inflatable Aqua Jump™ water trampoline, RAVE provides innovative and high-quality products that provide serious water sports fun for the whole family, including a comprehensive product line of water trampolines, bouncers and accessories, towables, stand up paddle boards, water skis and wakeboards, pool toys, and camp & resort water sports activity platforms.
When RAVE Sports was acquired by Escalade Sports in 2020, the brand needed to migrate its technical ecosystem to Escalade Sports’ Shopify and adopt Escalade’s backend operations. The replatform to Escalade’s multi-site commerce platform provided RAVE a unique opportunity to undergo a brand refresh, rebranding RAVE as a one-stop-shop for the lake, with 25 years experience in water sports centered around quality, family fun, and lake life. Leveraging Escalade’s other brands, RAVE’s Shopify migration also gave the brand access to new tools and third party applications, including Salsify‘s PIM, Klaviyo‘s EMS, and integrations with several new payment options.
The new site widened RAVE’s customer base with a story-telling approach, featured a new taxonomy to improved product and resource findability, optimized mobile traffic, and generated new merchandising opportunities through the new navigation and site content.
Within a few months, Escalade Sports was able to relaunch their new brand acquisition, positioning RAVE Sports for the new growth ahead in water sports. Now that’s something to rave about!

The CQL and Escalade teams architected a repeatable model on Shopify that supports an entire portfolio of Escalade Sports brands, including RAVE Sports, Bear Archery, Woodplay, Fowling, STIGA, Lifeline Fitness, Onix Pickleball, Goalsetter, American Heritage Billiards, Goalrilla, Fowling, and more. CQL provided a new digital identity, mobile-first redesign, and website launches for 11 brands, including RAVE Sports, in under 12 months.
