Since 1975, Woodplay has been building outdoor swing sets and playsets that help children grow and learn. As the “original wooden playset company,” Woodplay is known for exceptional value and durability, creating unending imaginative play for kids.
The challenge: Woodplay has two brands, Woodplay and Jack & June. The Woodplay brand offers a higher price point and is sold exclusively through specialty dealers. The Jack & June brand features a lower price point and includes other outdoor items, such as picnic tables and sandboxes. Woodplay’s new site needed a B2B component to support lead generation and dealer portal for Woodplay, and a B2C component to drive online sales for Jack & June. The site also needed to elevate the brand experience, optimize navigation, refresh creative assets, offer installation locators and DIY instructions, improve customer service, and allow easy site updates.
The solution: Woodplay was the 7th brand of Escalade Sports to launch on Shopify. With Shopify’s multi-site scalable framework, Woodplay was able to leverage templates from other Escalade Brands to lower costs and reduce time to launch, including Visual Navigation (Onix), Category Pages (Rave), Swingset Finder (Onix), Brand Pages (Goalrilla), Search (Onix), Product Manuals (Rave), and Customer Care (Escalade). Woodplay got their wishlist of features, in addition to expanding their product line, social media integration, enhancing “find a playset” functionality, and most importantly, gaining new customers & leads not reached previously by dealers.
